Itinerary

Itinerary highlights:

Chilean Fjords - a spectacular and worthwhile detour from the Pacific Ocean, which opens the door to a world of majestic, steep-sided waterways fed by ancient glaciers and breathtaking waterfalls, with view of the distant, snow-capped mountains. There's also an opportunity to visit the isolated fishing communities of Puerto Chacabuco and Castro, before cruising on into the heart of this timeless landscape where the local wildlife includes whales and penguins.

Rounding the Horn - a milestone in any mariner's log. Cape Horn is the most southerly point of South America, marking the northern boundary of Drake's Passage on the seafarer's chart. Part of the old clipper route for world traders, cruising these waters is still one of the great adventures at sea and heralds the passage from the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean.

Buenos Aires - the birth place of the Tango, and one of the most beautiful and dynamic cites under the sun. Built by Europeans, this good-looking and most vibrant of South American capitals is simply overflowing with energy and things to see and do. The food is fresh and innovative, the shopping ranges from designer labels to ethnic street vendors and the legendary nightlife is a dusk-till-dawn affair.
